Many men have the older woman fantasy. In the 60’s, it was the movie The Graduate that first brought cougars into the view of the world. Now if someone says, “She’s a Mrs. Robinson,” you know what they mean, a cougar.
The friend of the mom or the mom of a friend, both have been objects of lust for decades. With women treating themselves to better grooming these days, women are looking far better for far longer periods of times than they used to in the past. It used to be once a woman was past 30 she was old. Now, they haven’t even hit their stride yet.
It was always such a double standard for it to be acceptable that an older man would marry a woman young enough to be his daughter, but a scandal if a woman was involved with a man young enough to be their son. It was just looked down upon in general, and it’s so absurd.
I can think of a line from my favorite Johnny Depp movie, Don Juan DeMarco about a young woman that was being forced to marry a man of 50, the line in the movie said she’d be better served by two men of 25, I totally relate!
I too enjoy younger men and am a cougar, a bit young by some to be considered a full fledged cougar, but I do appreciate the energy and better looks and sounds a young man has to offer. I don’t want a man my own age, let alone older!
